ELIZABETH RODRIGUEZ

Senior Paralegal

Elizabeth Rodriguez joins the Brain Injury Rights Group (BIRG) as a senior paralegal. Elizabeth attended Potsdam University for 3 years and then transferred to Berkeley College where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in justice studies. In her last year at Berkeley, Elizabeth interned at the Legal Aid Society juvenile rights practice in the Bronx Family Court. Following graduation, she became a paralegal and continued working with the Legal Aid Society for 7 years.

Elizabeth’s experience of working with young people for so long got her interested in joining the BIRG team to learn more and help families who have children with disabilities. Elizabeth finds her passion in helping underprivileged families because she grew up as one and now uses that to help others. One of those ways is being bilingual, so language is not a barrier when helping families.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys kickboxing, shopping/fashion, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. A fun fact: Elizabeth used to play rugby and was on the rugby team during her time at Potsdam University.
