Richa Raghute is a distinguished legal professional with a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, where she graduated in May 2021. At Georgetown, Richa served as a Staff Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Law and Modern Critical Race Perspectives, collaborating closely with editorial staff to ensure the timely publication of high-quality manuscripts. She was also a Fellow in the Human Rights Associates Program, gaining extensive training in advocacy channels for human rights from esteemed lawyers at the ACLU and the International Criminal Court. Additionally, Richa was an active member of the Health Law Society, where she analyzed landmark healthcare cases and federal policies affecting vulnerable populations. She earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she led various student organizations and represented UCLA at the National Undergraduate Bioethics Conference.

Professionally, Richa has a wealth of experience in both legal and educational fields. Currently, she tutors English Language Arts with ClassUp, creating targeted lesson plans for elementary and middle school students. She previously served as a Student Attorney with the Health Justice Alliance at Georgetown University Law Center, advocating for clients’ rights under the ADA and negotiating individualized education plans. Richa has also worked as a Summer Law Clerk and Legal Extern, drafting FOIL requests, researching consumer health policies, and improving food regulations. Her extensive background includes roles as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at UCLA, where she taught bioethics, mentored students, and conducted research on ethical violations in maternal health clinics. Fluent in Spanish, Hindi, and Marathi, Richa brings a diverse skill set to the Brain Injury Rights Group.
