Angelo graduated with a Juris Doctor at Hofstra Law School in 2020. He is licensed to practice law in California, where he gained exposure in litigation. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Angelo has worked for a number of corporations, organizations, and agencies in New York as an intern, where he gained substantial experience in regulatory and compliance matters especially in the area of data privacy and cybersecurity.
While in law school, he worked as a research assistant for two professors, where he provided assistance in publishing a legal skills textbook and moderated a national listserv for capital cases. Angelo also served as a Postgraduate Clinic Intern at the Law Reform Advocacy Clinic at Hofstra Law School, where he represented a Guantanamo detainee in a habeas corpus case challenging the medical treatment he received. He was also the founder of the Global Law Students Organization, which provided mentorship to international and exchange students in order to help them adjust to life in law school and the U.S.
In his free time, Angelo enjoys exploring New York City and all the numerous food options it has to offer.
